At Montana Rail Link safety is not an assignment; it is a way of life—and our Culture. MRL places safety as its highest value and recognizes that this priority is good business for MRL, its customers and its employees. Employees finished 2010 with the best injury reduction performance in the Company history, demonstrating a 70% reduction in reportable injuries from 2009 to 2010; and sustained nine reportable injuries in 2010 compared to 25 in 2009—ending with a casualty ration of .96!
